 RESCUE DIVER COURSE

Being able to help another diver in a difficult situation will give you a great confidence boost under water.

Stress is often one of the causes for emergencies, and although most dives are very relaxed, recognising and dealing with the signs of stress is the first step towards handling a potential rescue situation. You might even be able to prevent an emergency.

During the course, we will discuss what leads to emergencies and practice skills - both in shallow water and on our course dives - that allow you to help your buddy and other divers, should a problem arise. In short, you will learn to look after others as well as yourself.

You also need a valid First Aid/CPR qualification to start the course, which we can complete here in just one day.

at a glance

  • Two days (allow one more day to gain a First Aid qualification)
  • Four dives, over four hours in the water
  • 315 USD per person plus 115 USD for First Aid/CPR
  • Incl. professional diving instruction, equipment, local transport, refreshments, lunch, certification fees and all taxes
